Simulations

Each simulation is a machine wired to the PLC's input and output cards. Pick one in the Simulations menu; its panel shows the machine, its buttons and switches, and the address of every device. Drag any labelled device onto an instruction or a pin to use its address.

The machine reacts to your outputs and sets your inputs every scan. Many of them can be damaged or misused (a door closing on a car, a tank overflowing): those events are reported in the bar under the drawing, and the exercises check for them.

Every simulation has an example program in File → Open example.

The I/O of each one is in the simulation reference.
